  January 2009

This was a hard decision for me.  I've enjoyed the challenges and rewards of representing authors in this ever-changing market; however, it's time for me to enjoy the freedom of retirement.

Thanks to all of you for your kindness and support.  It's been a joy, but it's time for me to take a different path.

Happy writing to you all!

Vivian

September 2008

It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of former agent, Jeanna Schilling.  She was an extraordinary writer, friend and colleague whom I will greatly miss.

The Vivian Beck Agency will be closed until September 30th, 2008.  This will give me a chance to reorganize files, revamp the website and catch up on submissions.  When we reopen in October, we will once again accept electronic queries.  Check the "How to Submit" page to find out what I'm seeking.

Melody Marshall has added a couple of great trailers to her website.  Check them out at MelodyMarshall.com.
